Students build a strong foundation in questioning, investigating, and problem solving through relevant real-world experiences.
Today race car driver and author Katherine Legge made a pit stop to read her book Kat’s Magic Helmet and talk all about racing to our 5th grade students. Katherine races in Nascar, Indy Car, IMSA and many other racing series. Katherine answered all of our students questions, and signed hero cards for each of our kids too! Words can’t describe just how amazing she was! She talked about chasing your dreams, being comfortable with being uncomfortable, and breaking barriers in a male dominated sport. Thank you Katherine for visiting our school 🏁 More pictures and videos to come! ... See MoreSee Less

🌟 Tomorrow is a BIG day for our school family! 🌟
Our very own Charlotte Martin will be RINGING THE BELL as she celebrates finishing her cancer treatments! 🎉💛 Charlotte has shown so much courage and strength, and we couldn’t be more proud of her.
She led a school-wide collection of bandaids for the children’s hospital, and thanks to her leadership and all of our amazing students, we donated thousands of bandaids to help bring smiles to other kids who are being brave too. 🩹✨
Charlotte, you inspire us all with your kindness, strength, and heart. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you tomorrow! ❤️🐾 ... See MoreSee Less

Dan shared a memorable message over 1 Corinthians 10:31. “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God!” Students were challenged with putting this verse to memory, then ended the meeting with a fun game of glory tag!

A look back at 5th Grade’s earthquake challenge, inspired by the annual “Shakedown” completed by second-year Civil Engineering students at The University of Bristol! Students applied seismic engineering principles, such as x-bracing, symmetry, and central cores, to create a structure that could withstand our earthquake simulator, the ShAkE TAbLE! We had a few teams who were able to make it to a 5 on the Richter scale!👏 ... See MoreSee Less
