I have been in education for 19 years. I have worked in a variety of school settings ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade, as well as higher education. I have been a classroom teacher, an Instructional Coach, a University Professor, and now an Administrator. Each one of my experiences leading up to my time at Lanier has helped to prepare me for the journey we are embarking on as Lanier School for Inquiry, Investigation, and Innovation. I am excited to offer our students opportunities to work collaboratively, question together, and learn and grow with each other through hands-on learning experiences. I am confident that LSi³ students will be better equipped to positively contribute to society having spent time here!

Assistant Principal
I have been in education for over 13 years in the Hall County School District. Throughout my experiences, I worked with students in grades kindergarten through fifth. I have worked in several different roles at LSi3 and I have enjoyed all of them. As the Instructional Coach, I was able to work with all the students and teachers at LSi3. Before becoming the Instructional Coach, I spent four years in the SEARCH classroom facilitating advanced curriculum to our school’s identified Gifted students. During my time in the SEARCH Classroom, I helped plan, develop, and implement professional development courses for teachers on how to construct academically challenging environments and inquiry based classrooms school-wide.
I was also part of the Inquiry Design Team and assisted in the inquiry-based model becoming school wide by presenting the model to the Hall County School Board of Education. LSi3 is now a School of Choice in Hall County, the school-wide inquiry model began during the 2020-2021 school year. This experience has given me an invaluable scope of how a school flows and broadened my understanding of teacher and student development beyond the classroom.
My education includes a dual certificate with a Bachelor of Science in Special and Elementary Education from the University of North Georgia; a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia, and my Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University. In addition, I have several endorsements including Coaching, ESOL, Gifted, Reading, and STEM.
I am a lifelong learner and instilling this philosophy into students and teachers is my passion. I am honored to be part of the Lanier family and I am looking forward to the bright future ahead.
